This One-Wheeled Gyro Skate They Call A “Hoverboard”

The mad scientist who brought Hoverboard Technologies began calling his vehicle a "deserved experience." This means it is difficult to drive. Despite the name, this hoverboard * not float. Instead, it uses gyroscopes like a Segway, so with your feet balanced on both sides of a giant Rollerblade-style wheel in the middle.

Hoverboard Technologies comes out of today's stealth with a preview video and will go on Kickstarter September 17th for $ 4,000, shipping in the next year.

The hoverboard * is powered by an electric motor that follows his inclination to accelerate or brake. To activate not shift your weight as a normal skateboard or snowboard, but redirect Twerk waist.

On the plus side, its reach of 15 miles per charge will beat most electric skateboards, and it can go 20mph. It takes to load one to two hours, or 12 minutes, with an optional charger. It can reportedly rising hill. The Board consists of high-quality components such as magnesium and is modular, so you could take it apart to replace pieces or to repair itself.

Unfortunately, the battery life and premium hardware is making it extremely difficult - about 20 to 25 pounds. It is very difficult to carry by hand and will not fit in your backpack. The costs are also seriously unaffordable. If you have some wealthy extreme sports nut or want to spoil your kids, I'm not sure who will buy it.

That was never really the point when. Robert Bigler invented gyro skate After selling his robotic automation Start animatics for a number of prey. He had dreamed of a hoverboard and was anxious, they give birth to reality. He told  that when the kickstarter is not, it will only make a few dozen plates for friends and family, then call it quits.

If this thing had launched a year ago, it would probably have caused more of a stir. But since then, some real (though impractical due to needing a metal floor) hoverboards have debuted from Arx Pax and Lexus. And everyone is mislabeling those HoverTrax/Cyboard mini Segways as hoverboards.
In the end, this might just be a rich scientist’s mid-life crisis, not a leap forward in transportation. But there are worse things you could spend your fortune inventing.
